Rehab Programs

In Clarke County, there are specialized rehabilitation clinics to help patients with drug and alcohol addictions. The recovery programs are different, depending on the patient’s health. Generally, they offer 30-day programs. Anyway, the period of treatment can be less or more. The decision of the duration is made collectively. A group of specialists, family members, and the patient make the final decision together.

The most important part of treatment is the psychological disposition. The addicted person should be ready to receive professional support, otherwise, the efforts may be fruitless.

Detox

No matter what program is chosen, the treatment always starts with detoxification. It is essential that detox is safe and correct. The latter is always conducted under medical supervision, which is followed by intensive therapy.

After detox, there are certain important points to consider. The stages that come after it are:

  • A well-planned program (inpatient or outpatient)
  • Therapies (individual or group)
  • Provision of a working future program

Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment

Clarke County rehabs provide different types of services. Generally, there are two main options – inpatient and outpatient. Residential inpatient treatment means staying in the clinic 24 hours, under strict care. In this case, the addicts get full medical and behavioral hospitalization.

On the contrary, the outpatient option is more flexible, leaving the freedom of managing the schedule. In this case, the patients can still go on with their normal lifestyle, paying visits only several times a week, for several hours.

Besides inpatient and outpatient care, there is also a mixed type – a combination of the two. For moderate cases, partial hospitalization is one of the best choices.
